It was used extensively over a period of about 3 days. I found it to be as least as good as a Karcher that I had previously hired, which had a list price of over £300. Since then I have used it for other cleaning jobs (eg car).
So far I have found it to be completely reliable. My only minor quibble is that the pressure adjusting switch tends to rotate slightly of its own accord. Other than that I would have rated it with 5 stars. I think the previous reviewer must have just been unlucky with a faulty new washer.
I would recommend it. Incidentally, for the specifications (motor size, pressure output and water flow rate) the Amazon price for this model is hard to beat!
Very PoorReview date: 2005-05-20 Rating: 2 out of 10Used this machine twice, for a grand total of about 5 minutes, before it completely packed in. After purchase I read some reviews elsewhere warning me of JCB quality and advising to buy Karcher. The thing weighs 16kg when packed, so even returning it is a hassle - you have to take it to a main post office.
