The Stanley 9-way screwdriver is a useful tool that will be handy in any household. The moulded, textured handle, in the traditional Stanley black and yellow style, has a cushioned grip that makes it comfortable to hold and apply a firm grip. Eight separate attachments fit into the handle as required. Each of these interchangeable attachments has a shaped plastic base that easily slides in and out of the handle, without being too loose. There are three standard flat-head screwdriver attachments (1/8, 3/16, 1/4 inch), plus three Philips heads (#0, #1, #2). There's an awl and a very handy tack puller, which has a two-pronged claw, much like a miniaturised version of the tail of a claw hammer. The final utility in the set is a hook driver, which can easily be missed upon first inspection. This black plastic attachment fits onto the end of one of the flat head screwdrivers and provides you with a recess approximately one-inch wide. The purpose of this is to enable you to slide it over ring hooks, or picture hooks and get a sure purchase for fitting or releasing. The 10-piece set comes in a practical storage case, which comprises a black moulded base in which the pieces sit vertically and a clear plastic cover, with moulded insets and hole, useful for carrying, or hanging. Better than I expected. Very useful set of screwdrivers for the housework. Good price. The only disadvantage is the case which looks cool but is not very practicle.

The handles are not particularly well moulded onto the shafts, so some the handles slip round when you are trying to remove a screw. The lid is very hard to remove when it's cold, and you end up spraying the contents of the set everywhere.
